Job summary

DairyNZ Limited is seeking a skilled Project-Programme Coordinator who can bring strong coordination capability and transferable skills relevant to our industry. You’ll support planning, monitoring, reporting, governance coordination and financial tracking, with independence.

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Delivery Advisor, you’ll help programmes stay organised, visible and moving forward, enabling stronger governance, informed decisions and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or programme coordination.
• Hands-on experience supporting project and programme reporting, including financial reporting, governance reporting and status updates.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Strong capability using Microsoft tools, project management systems and data to support accurate reporting and delivery oversight.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Confidence working with external organisations and stakeholders in a collaborative, partnership-focused way.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, maintaining and improving initiative documentation, systems and delivery artefacts
• Collecting, maintaining and interpreting data to support project and programme planning, reporting and decision-making
• Drafting high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums
• Monitoring and tracking project and programme costs, highlighting risks, issues or variances as needed
• Coordinating and supporting meetings, workshops and governance forums, including agendas, minutes, actions and follow-up to keep delivery on track
• Supporting external governance and stakeholder meetings, including travel and event coordination where needed
