Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC. seeks a delivery driver to safely and efficiently transport perishable dairy and drink products, largely based on pre-orders. You will operate a range of delivery vehicles, manage loads, and ensure DOT compliance with hours of service and medical card requirements.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate order placement, and proper invoicing while maintaining inventory and following company policies. Training for CDL upgrades is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class C delivery experience or operation with a valid Class B permit.
• Class B CDL permit within 3 months of hire and goal to upgrade to Class B CDL within six months.
• DOT regulations knowledge and compliance are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate non-CDL and CDL delivery vehicles as trained.
• Demonstrate operation of truck refrigeration units and lift devices.
• Use hand trucks, milk dollies, and pallet jacks for product delivery.
• Manage inventory and document discrepancies or damages.
• Ensure loads are secured and loads accounted for.
• Maintain DOT hours of service compliance and medical card.
• Provide courteous service to customers and document transactions.
• Adhere to company policies and report accidents promptly.
