Job summary

Purity Dairies, Inc. is seeking a responsible CDL-B delivery driver to operate a straight or pup truck, unload at customer sites, and build relationships with schools, grocers and other accounts on an assigned route.

You will follow DOT and company safety rules, maintain vehicles, and complete daily paperwork, with home nightly on weekdays. Benefits include 401(k), healthcare, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career growth within family-owned dairy operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a delivery truck (straight truck, pup truck) within the last 5 years preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Certification and/or License – valid Class B/Class B with Air Brake CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers on route schedule and meet delivery expectations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules; report delays due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns.
• Load and unload product at stops; may stock, rotate, and/or order product as needed.
• Provide merchandising support and promote new products where appropriate.
• Maintain good relations with customers and report problems to supervisor or manager.
• Ensure and maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper load security at all times.
• Complete daily paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and service reports.
