Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class C delivery experience or operation with a valid Class B permit.
• Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier operator laws and requirements.
• Licenses: Valid Class “C” License; Class B CDL within 3 months of hire; six months to upgrade.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification (for targeted positions).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate non-CDL delivery vehicles including straight trucks, pickup trucks and box trucks.
• Operate truck refrigeration units and mechanical lift devices on trucks.
• Handle loads with hand trucks, milk dollies and pallet jacks, securing all loads.
• Maintain route accuracy, inventory, and report missing or damaged items.
• Comply with DOT hours of service, maintain CDL medical card, and participate in drug testing pool as required.
• Provide courteous service to customers and representatives per company standards.
• Process orders, invoices, deposits, and keep records per policies.
• Attend mandated trainings and report accidents or injuries promptly.
