Job summary

ABS Global, a Genus Company, offers a Reproduction and Breeding Internship in the U.S. for the summer. The role involves hands-on cattle reproduction support, training with clients, and working with the ABS management team.

The position requires cattle handling experience, good communication, a 12-week summer commitment, and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Compensation ranges hourly at $17–$18 USD and includes paid travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cattle handling and farm operations.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of ABS proven technical solutions through hands-on involvement and training with clients, staff, and local ABS management.
• Understand general farm operation and handling cattle including reproductive skills and safety procedures.
• Learn to measure and report progress and results of technical service initiatives.
• Acquire knowledge in seeking new ways to deliver value to customers in cooperation with the technical service team and new business development.
• Exposure to real industry seminars, producer meetings and in-house meetings.
