Job summary

Genus plc’s ABS Global in Northeast Ohio invites motivated students to join the Reproduction and Breeding Internship. You’ll work alongside our technical and field teams to support cattle reproduction efforts, learn software tools, and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading bovine genetics and RMS integration.

This 12‑week summer program offers 40 hours per week with flexible daily hours set by your manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in cattle handling and farm operations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work at least 12 weeks during the summer.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of ABS technical solutions through hands-on involvement.
• Understand farm operations and cattle handling including reproductive skills.
• Learn to measure and report progress of technical service initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical service team to deliver value to customers.
• Attend industry seminars, meetings and publications.
• Develop skills in PCDart, DC305, BoviSynch software.
• Assist GMS evaluator coding cows.
• Assist Repro Tech with customers and RMS implementation on farms.
• Support Sales Reps on route with deliveries and service.
