Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals Inc. at the Gooding Whey Plant seeks a Production Refiner Operator to help ensure efficient processing and product quality.

You will operate refiner equipment, collect lab samples, log readings, and adjust parameters to maintain top quality dairy ingredients while following SOPs and safety standards. Weekend/overtime availability is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and reliability required.
• Able to operate and learn refinery equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow SOPs.
• Must be able to stand for long shifts.
• Ability to work in hot and dusty conditions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate refiner processing equipment.
• Collect and deliver samples to the laboratory.
• Monitor operation of equipment and adjust to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment to improve efficiency.
• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and update them when possible.
• Take readings and maintain equipment logs.
• Monitor and report product spills and safety hazards.
• Comply with safety and food safety regulations.
