Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is looking for a Production Team Leader at the Gooding Cheese Plant to monitor belt operations and maintain quality standards. You will ensure that cheese production meets high quality specifications while adhering to safety and food regulations.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to operate the Gooding Cheese belt system, exhibit strong organizational skills, and have an excellent record in safety and attendance. The position also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work weekends and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn to operate the Gooding Cheese belt system.
• Desire to grow with the company.
• Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
• Must be well organized.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Computer experience helpful.
• Excellent record in safety, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor belt operations to ensure equipment works to produce cheese.
• Maintain quality and throughput standards in the Gooding Cheese Plant.
• Maintain records and paperwork accurately.
• Communicate regularly with shift supervisor.
• Ensure cheese quality meets customer specifications.
• Make changes to belt times as needed.
• Stay current with SOPs as equipment and process change.
