Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. seeks a Production Team Leader to oversee warehouse operations at the Gooding Cheese Plant. You will ensure receiving, put-away, loading, and shipping run safely and efficiently in line with GMP and food-safety standards.

You’ll collaborate with the Warehouse Manager, train staff, and backfill operators as needed, while driving improvements. Strong English literacy, weekend availability, and shift flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to run, or learn to run and troubleshoot all equipment in the Gooding Cheese Warehouse.
• Ability to drive or learn to drive a forklift.
• Desire to grow with the company.
• Willingness to attend training classes as needed.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts as needed.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
• Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operations in the warehouse as part of the production team.
• Insure that cheese is received, documented and put away in the required manner.
• Assist Warehouse Manager and Senior Lead Person in efficient running of the warehouse.
• Load trucks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Assure product being loaded meets customer specifications.
• Fill in for operators as needed.
• Assist plant management in projects as assigned.
• Ensure plant meets, and employees follow current GMP standards.
• Work in accordance with Glanbia core values.
• Fulfill other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Plant Management.
• Each employee shall comply with safety and health standards and applicable regulations.
