Job summary

Select Milk Producers in Littlefield, TX seeks a Milk Receiving Technician to handle incoming milk and related duties in a clean, sanitary environment. You will CIP tankers and silos, collect samples for testing, and ensure loads meet specifications before dispatch.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain a Sampler’s Certificate under PMO, and basic math skills. The role emphasizes safety, GMP adherence, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain a Sampler’s Certificate from the State and become an Industry Analyst as defined by the PMO (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).
• Must operate equipment safely and follow GMP and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming milk and other products meeting standards.
• Perform CIP of Tankers, Silos, and line circuits.
• Take samples for bacteria, butterfat, SNF, and residues; monitor CIP system.
• Monitor testing equipment and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Ensure loads are within specification prior to load out; assist with training.
