Job summary

Continental Dairy Facilities Southwest, LLC is seeking a dependable Milk Receiving Associate to manage incoming milk and related products, maintain sanitary, USDA-ready spaces, and perform precise sampling and testing.

The role includes CIP of tankers and silos, monitoring testing equipment, and adhering to GMP, safety rules, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot small problems and know when issues may require input from higher authority.
• Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
• Must be able to operate the equipment effectively after the appropriate break-in period.
• Basic computational skills and simple math required.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming products that meet legal and company standards.
• CIP of Tankers, Silos, and line circuits.
• Take proper samples of incoming products for bacteria, butterfat, SNF, and inhibitory substances.
• Perform tests for drug residues (PMO), temperature checks, titratable acidity, and other required analyses.
• Monitor CIP system for chemical strengths and equipment performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; keep USDA inspection readiness at all times.
• Complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities.
• Ensure load out of all raw products meets specifications prior to load out.
• Assist in training of new personnel.
• Report safety issues or equipment damage to supervisor promptly.
