Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Science training and/or dairy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food standards and handling, HACCP, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull all required samples within established time periods to enable lab to identify product issues as they run on the line.
• Verify product meets specifications on the line and notify deviations to operators, coordinators and lab staff.
• Run and interpret tests such as pH/TA, temperature, weight, packaging, seal checks, and shelf life verifications; support microbiology testing and data recording.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of lab areas, incubators, and equipment; set up racks before lines start.
• Collaborate with team to identify improvements in lab and plant processes.
