Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) is seeking a production worker for its Wisconsin dairy processing facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient operation of packaging equipment on the production line.

Responsibilities include monitoring weights and codes, adhering to GMPs and HACCP guidelines, and assisting with sanitation and training of new staff. High school diploma or GED required; dairy industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food manufacturing experience in the dairy or cheese industry preferred.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, OSHA and loss control programs highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Report safety, food safety and quality issues to management and follow all safety policies.
• Operate packaging equipment and production lines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor quality control items such as weights, coding, and packaging to reduce waste and contamination.
• Assist with sanitation, housekeeping, and training of new employees.
• Provide maintenance support for machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.
