AMPI is seeking a manufacturing associate to join its Wisconsin dairy processing team. The role emphasizes safety, quality and GMP compliance while handling carts, packing materials and routine sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to maintain a valid forklift operator license.
• Ability to follow safety, quality and GMP policies.

Responsibilities

• Report safety, food safety and quality issues to the supervisor or authority.
• This position has heightened food safety and food quality responsibilities.
• Assemble carts and prepare cheesecloth and liners for boxing.
• Rinse carts and pans to remove soil or debris prior to washing.
• Clean and sanitize all carts and pans and re-clean if needed.
• Load and unload carts in the vacuum chamber and run vacuum cycles as required.
• Inspect, weigh, and tag carts; maintain good housekeeping in packaging areas.
• Maintain documentation and assist with training new employees.
• Provide maintenance support for troubleshooting and repair assistance as needed.
• Document production deficiencies and communicate them during shift changes.
• Continuously look for process improvements and communicate findings.
• Adhere to all Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and refer to work instructions.
