Job summary

DFA Milk in Athens, TN is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily operations on a first-shift schedule, Monday–Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed. Lead and mentor a team, ensure production goals are met, and maintain safety and quality throughout the processing line.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and adherence to GMP and food-safety standards. On-site work location is 806 E. Madison Ave., Athens, TN.

Qualifications

• Leadership aptitude and supervisory experience
• 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to enforce safety rules and quality standards
• Proficient in communication and team coordination

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and direct production employees
• Monitor milk processing steps and ensure quality standards
• Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned; arrange repairs
• Promote safe work behaviors and investigate incidents
• Oversee production scheduling to meet orders and throughput
• Mentor and coach team members; conduct evaluations and training
• Maintain compliance with GMP and other regulations
• Resolve employee grievances with HR and management
