Job summary

DFA Milk in Athens, TN is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure high quality and safety standards are met. You will direct and coach staff, coordinate scheduling, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

The role requires 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and effective communication to foster teamwork and meet production goals. Evening shifts and occasional weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years’ manufacturing supervisory experience preferred, food/beverage sector a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities; capable of performance development.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise production employees to meet daily goals and ensure smooth process flow.
• Monitor milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, packaging, and related operations for quality and efficiency.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct safety investigations as required; participate in safety meetings.
