Job summary

The Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking experienced Production Supervisors for 2nd shift across multiple facilities. You will lead a team in a fast-paced dairy processing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food production, dairy processing, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong leadership experience managing teams in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements.
• Plan and organize personnel, materials, equipment, and production schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable to performance expectations and plant standards.
• Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication and smooth operational transitions.
• Promote and maintain compliance with food safety, SQF, FSMA, GMP, and workplace safety programs.
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow adjustments, and operational priorities to meet business demands.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Serve as a hands‑on leader who supports operational success while developing future talent.
