Job summary

Proliant Dairy Ingredients is seeking a production operator to assist various plant areas while maintaining GMP-compliant, efficient processes to meet customer specs. Hourly wage is $24.50 with 6am–2pm shifts and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves operating packaging equipment, performing quality checks, and supporting maintenance tasks to ensure smooth production and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year stable work experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and palletizing equipment.
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Bag and blend finished powder, weigh, sample, seal, and palletize product.
• Label and use inventory tracking system for finished product.
• Perform quality checks on raw inventory on each load.
• Unload raw inventory from trucks.
• Document findings of quality checks and inventory.
• Operate production equipment including dryers and spray dryers.
• Assist maintenance with motors and pumps as requested.
• Store and track product, materials and chemicals using FIFO.
