Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a Vacation Relief Operator to perform duties related to receiving, sanitation, and machine operation. You will relieve other operators during vacations and ensure accurate documentation of production runs, downtime, weights, and label verification.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass pre-employment screenings including drug and background checks. This is a rotating shift position with union benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sanitize, and operate filling machines.
• Relieve other operators when they are on vacation.
• Document production runs, downtime, weights, code dates and label verification.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to address issues affecting production.
