Job summary

Lactalis US Yogurt, based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in Production, Maintenance and Quality Control. You will drive safety, efficiency, and product quality while supporting the Production Manager and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include meeting production schedules, coaching hourly staff, coordinating with maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years leading, mentoring or delegating work in a manufacturing facility.
• 3+ years in a food manufacturing environment; dairy/cheese experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and retain a large team of hourly associates.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements and enforces safety programs and safe work practices.
• Partner with Production Manager and site leaders to hit productivity and quality goals.
• Meet production schedules to achieve business goals.
• Ensure yields and efficiencies meet budgetary and corporate standards.
• Provide direction and development to direct reports and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and maintenance to optimize operations.
• Build strong working relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor and coach team members and support HR on labor relations.
