Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy in Platteville, CO is seeking a Production Engineer to join our maintenance and operations team. The role partners with plant engineers to develop and execute preventative maintenance programs, optimize OEE, and ensure safe, compliant production in a high-volume dairy facility.

You will train operators and maintenance staff, support HACCP and SQF programs, read and interpret maintenance manuals, and contribute to reliability across processing equipment and packaging lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance with food processing focus preferred.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead teams.
• Knowledge of HACCP/SQF and safety standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to improve OEE.
• Collaborate with engineers on equipment design, modification and upkeep.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on procedures and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and safety requirements.
• Maintain records and support off-hours repairs as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting and hands-on equipment repair.
