Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to support the efficient operation of our production facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have journeyman credentials or equivalent manufacturing experience, be able to obtain an industrial lift truck permit, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or four years of equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain an industrial lift truck operator permit.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift in a 24/7 operation, with holidays and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Pump, motor, valve, and drive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Maintain fans, blowers, steam boiler monitoring and related systems.
• Monitor ammonia, glycol, air compressor and related systems.
• Keep logs and charts; learn Pasteurizer systems maintenance.
• Apply OSHA safety practices and understand piping flow.
