Job summary

Kemps Dairy, a farmer-owned DFA brand, seeks a skilled plant maintenance technician to care for production assets and keep machinery running across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

You will complete planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems, with a 12-hour shift 7am-7pm, 42 hours on average every two weeks, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, millwright, pipe fitting, electronics, PLC and/or HVAC
• Ability to read basic measurements and use hand tools
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment and utility systems
• Keep machinery running to support production, packaging and processing lines
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and hydraulic issues and implement fixes
