Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions, a DFA company, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production and packaging equipment operating reliably. You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance, read technical manuals, and assist with new equipment installations.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, support safety procedures, and document repairs while staying current on industry practices and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical school preferred, with electrical systems, PLC/HMI, or welding/fabrication focus.
• 2–4 years of maintenance, electrical, hydraulics, or HVAC experience in manufacturing.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Certification and/or licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Read schematics, manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Support installation of new equipment and operator/trainer assistance.
• Maintain safety and document repairs; follow GMP and sanitation requirements.
