Job summary

Select Milk Producers, a leading dairy cooperative, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and uphold GMP and safety standards across all plant equipment. The role supervises technicians, coordinates preventive maintenance, and ensures reliable dairy processing and packaging lines.

Candidates should bring extensive dairy maintenance experience, strong leadership, and a dedication to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in college-level context.
• Minimum seven years in a production maintenance role involving electronics, instrumentation, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and dairy processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP rules and regulations.
• Supervise Maintenance Technicians and coordinate repairs across equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance training modules for sanitary dairy equipment.
• Schedule and monitor work orders and assess progress with the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain and repair production equipment (pumps, pasteurizers, evaporators, dryers, valves, packaging).
• Maintain and repair support equipment (boilers, air compressors, glycol chillers, HVAC, condensers, pumps).
• Oversee chemical handling and testing for plant water and glycol.
• Assist fabrication of equipment for production needs and maintain plant records.
