Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services seeks a Production Packager in Luana, IA to prepare, package, label and inspect dairy products. You will work under a production team in a fast-paced setting to ensure correct packaging and distribution readiness.

The role emphasizes following strict food-safety standards, accuracy, and teamwork while standing for long periods and lifting materials as required. OT may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous packaging/manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery as needed.
• Package dairy products according to company specifications.
• Inspect containers, labels, seals and finished products for defects.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, dated and packaged.
• Load and unload packaging materials and supplies.
• Monitor production lines and report issues to supervisors.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine equipment checks.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily goals.
• Assist with other production duties when needed.
