Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a Milk Receiver in Dalhart, TX. This role focuses on weighing in milk tanker samples, unloading/loading raw ingredients, and ensuring accurate temperature testing and inhibitors.

The candidate will operate receiving bay equipment and participate in ongoing safety and sanitation programs. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize milk tanker throughput.
• CIP/COP related process equipment as required by PMO and internal policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Acquire a State issued license for Beta-Lactam screening of raw milk (if applicable).
• Obtain state issued Sampler’s and Weigher’s License.
• Operate HMI process controls.
• Understand milk quality and safety.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming raw milk ingredients.
• Satisfy cleaning and documentation per Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Communicate effectively and participate in training and development activities.
• Help coach and train teammates and participate in on-the-job training.
• Prioritize food safety and sanitation policies; report safety issues to leadership.
