Job summary

Daisy Brand in Garland, Texas seeks a Manufacturing Systems Engineer Processing to drive continuous improvement, support productivity, and manage formulation and quality control in the dairy operations. Senior technical role requiring leadership, data analysis from LIMS/production logs, and collaboration with R&D, QC and Technical Services to resolve processing challenges.

The position requires an MS/BS in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably with a dairy

Qualifications

• S. / M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably with a Dairy background.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize unit operation performance and yield.
• Plan and lead large-scale trials with processing and packaging operators, and publish post-trial analyses.
• Analyze in-process and finished product samples to support process and product improvements; manage trial sampling and validations.
• Provide technical support across Processing, QC, Packaging, Sanitation and Maintenance teams.
