Job summary

Lactalis USA in Buffalo, NY is hiring a Dairy Machine Operator on the 3rd shift, including weekends with days off during the week, to run and clean multiple cheese production pieces of equipment.

You will monitor key processing indicators, maintain sanitation, and complete production and sanitation paperwork to ensure a high-quality product. An Associate's in Dairy Science or Chemistry is preferred, HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, maintain sanitation, CIP, shutdown and operate machinery; troubleshoot when needed.
• Monitor processing indicators: time, temperature, pH, moisture, weight.
• Maintain production in a continuous flow operation.
