Job summary

Lactalis USA in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Dairy Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (weekends with days off midweek). You will run and clean equipment including cheese molders, cooker, DMC and brine system, ensuring smooth production.

Responsibilities include startup and sanitation, CIP, monitoring time, temperature, pH, moisture and weight, maintaining a continuous flow, and completing production and sanitation records while upholding GMP and food safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Dairy Science or Chemistry preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Dairy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, maintain sanitation, perform CIP, shutdown and operate machinery.
• Monitor time, temperature, pH, moisture and weight.
• Maintain production in a continuous flow operation.
• Complete daily production and sanitation paperwork accurately.
• Ensure Food Safety and GMP/GSP compliance.
• Assist Mozzarella Production Supervisor with other duties.
• Work efficiently and safely to produce a high quality product.
