Job summary

Leprino Foods in Denver is seeking a Dairy Liquids Operations Analyst to coordinate real-time sales, scheduling, and transportation across our plant network. You will link plant production with customer demand and freight movement to keep product flowing, working closely with internal transportation partners, carriers, and customers to respond quickly and maintain reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, economics, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in sales operations, transportation, order-to-cash, or supply chain execution in food, dairy, or food distribution.
• Experience with transportation carriers, freight coordination, or logistics planning.
• Proficient in Excel for analyzing and presenting data.
• Ability to support rotating on-call schedule, including nights/weekends.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and adjust weekly ODL production and sales schedules based on real-time plant output, customer demand, and market conditions.
• Coordinate the full order-to-cash process, including entry, shipment tracking, invoicing, and issue resolution with external suppliers and customers.
• Communicate daily with carriers, plant personnel, and suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and resolve disruptions.
• Monitor loads in transit and arrange alternative transportation to maintain service levels.
• Evaluate rejected or distressed inventory to minimize waste and maximize value recovery.
• Analyze pricing, yield, and weight data to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate settlements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carrier partners and drive transportation performance.
• Enhance reporting tools and data flow across stakeholders.
• Partner with plant operations, logistics, accounting, and customers to support objectives.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (about one week per month).
