Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a Lab Technician for the 2nd shift (Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM). The role involves testing products, setting up samples, and supporting QA programs to ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience in food manufacturing, lab testing, QA, or related field.
• Up to 1 year of lab/QA experience preferred.
• Certification/license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various stages of production.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Maintain lab records and data entry.
• Prepare reports of results and monitor quality trends.
• Follow GMP and safety regulations.
• Perform daily cleaning and CIP procedures.
• Notify supervisor of out-of-range values or deviations.
