Job summary

Bongards Premium Cheese in Norwood, MN is seeking a Lab Technician on the day shift to support testing and QA at the processing facility. You will perform salt, moisture, fat, and microbiological testing, document results, and enter data for QC and FOSS/FQ analyzers, collaborating with QA staff.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong arithmetic and reading skills, and be comfortable handling chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong arithmetic and reading skills.
• Proven organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform computer data entry.
• Familiar with safe handling of chemicals and reagents.

Responsibilities

• Daily lab testing including salt, moisture, fat, and microbiological analyses.
• Accurate documentation of test results and QA paperwork.
• Electronic data entry and communication of results to QA.
• Support QA Technicians and maintain lab records.
• Other duties as assigned.
