Job summary

Clarks Market Meeker, CO is hiring for a part-time dairy department role. You will forecast demand, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers to keep dairy and frozen products available. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating stock FIFO, and assisting customers with product information.

You will also inspect deliveries, maintain cleanliness, handle records, and support the Center Store Manager with inventory and reporting. Evening/ weekend shifts may be required.

Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $17.50 - $20.50 Hourly

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

• Ordering: Forecast demand and place orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of dairy and frozen products.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders based on sales trends and seasonal variations.

Stocking and Merchandising

• Receive and verify dairy product deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner.
• Rotate products according to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness.

Quality Control

• Inspect dairy products for freshness and expiration dates.
• Remove and properly dispose of expired or damaged products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dairy section.

Customer Service

• Assist customers in locating dairy/frozen products and provide product information.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
• Promote special offers and new products in the dairy section.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory levels.
• Prepare sales and inventory reports for the Center Store Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Center Store team to coordinate efforts and achieve department goals.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or grocery store experience preferred.
• Experience in a dairy department or similar role is a plus.
