Job summary

Lowes Foods is hiring for a dairy/frozen department associate to ensure guest service excellence and efficient department operations. You will interact with guests, stock and rotate dairy products, and maintain organized inventories and paperwork to support smooth store performance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, maintaining product levels, and upholding sanitation standards while assisting with front-end tasks to minimize guest wait times.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs continuously.
• Knowledge of dairy/frozen food operations.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all dairy/frozen products on shelves per standards.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried, rotated, and dated overstock in cooler/freezer areas.
• Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control and proper handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery to the store.
• Order milk, eggs, and other dairy/frozen products to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain organized paperwork for ordering and stock loss documentation.
• Keep sales floor and coolers clean and sanitized.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To insure that Lowes Foods guest service and departmental operation is maintained in the dairy/frozen food department.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all dairy/frozen product on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried, rotated, and dated overstock in the cooler/freezer areas.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Responsible for ordering milk, eggs, and other dairy/frozen product to maintain proper product level, rotation, and inventory control.
• Responsible for maintaining organized paperwork associated with ordering and proper stock loss documentation procedures.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the cooler/freezer areas.
• Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
