Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill in Lititz, PA is hiring a full-time Team Member for our Lititz Pike Fresh Foods location. The role requires flexible day, evening, and weekend availability, with weekly pay and a solid benefits package.

You will support department operations, merchandising, and pricing while training teammates and ensuring safe, efficient store performance. Must be 18 or older and able to lift up to 50 pounds in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures in coolers.

Responsibilities

• Be ready to assume Department Manager duties when needed.
• Coordinate invoices and inter-company transfers to ensure timely billing.
• Act as a working manager to ensure smooth operation of the department.
• Maintain and operate departmental equipment.
• Assist with merchandising plans and planograms with Buying team.
• Train team members on store policies, product knowledge, and duties.
• Schedule duties and time off based on business needs and events.
• Ensure correct pricing and communicate with Buying/GM teams.

Responsibilities

• Is ready and able to assume the job responsibilities of the Department Manager when necessary.
• Coordinates vendor invoices, SKH invoices, and inter-company transfers on a daily basis to ensure timely billing.
• Functions as a working manager, performing all tasks necessary to assure the smoothoperation of the division
• Maintains and operates departmental equipment.
• Devise game plans and plan-o-grams for merchandising of the department in conjunctionwith the Buying team.
• Trains team members in store policies, department procedures, product knowledge and jobduties to ensure they are working in a productive and safe manner.
• Assigns duties to team members and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacationsbased on the needs of the business and upcoming store events.
• Fully understands the retail label systems, communicates with Scan, General Management,and/or Buying teams to ensure correct pricing.ure correct pricing.
• Supervises and performs departmental inventories to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
• Communicates with Buying and GM teams regarding merchandising, new productimplementation and appropriate pricing. Promptly follows through with directions.
• Has knowledge of current inventories and ordering systems to assist with the ordering ofsupplies and merchandise from approved vendors.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to cold temperatures whileworking in or around the coolers.
