Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, stock according to planograms, and ensure product integrity. You will support merchandising, inventory management, and food safety standards while delivering excellent member service.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer: stock dairy and freezer products per planograms while maintaining visuals.
Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy: monitor temperature control and replenish items to ensure freshness.
Execute proper product rotation: apply FIFO to reduce waste and preserve quality.
Conduct quality and date checks: inspect items for expiration dates and conditions.
Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance: clean coolers, freezers, equipment, and shelving.
