Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and food safety compliance while delivering excellent member service.

You will help keep the department organized, participate in daily tasks, and contribute to overall club performance. This position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Stock dairy and freezer products per planograms to maintain visual standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy to ensure freshness and availability.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Perform regular quality and date checks and remove damaged items to uphold safety standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including cleaning of coolers and shelving.
• Monitor in-stock levels and assist with replenishment to keep the department full.
