Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to keep the dairy and freezer sections stocked, organized, and compliant with food safety standards. You will support merchandising, inventory control, and department efficiency while delivering friendly service to Members.

The role emphasizes accurate stock rotation, temperature control, and adherence to club standards to meet daily goals and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer planograms and stock according to standards.
• Monitor cold chain, replenish items, and ensure freshness and availability.
• Rotate products using FIFO to reduce waste and maintain quality.
• Check dates and remove damaged or outdated items to uphold safety.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing for a smooth checkout.
