• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, lift, and work in cold environments (coolers) with frequent lifting of 35 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong understanding of dairy products and inventory management systems
• May require forklift or pallet jack certification

They lead staff, manage schedules, and ensure high-quality product rotation in dairy and frozen sections. Key skills include leadership, customer service, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Inventory:Managing inventory, ordering stock, processing deliveries, and managing inventory turnover (FIFO).
• Merchandising:Creating attractive, well-stocked displays and managing product pricing.
• Staff Management:Training, scheduling, and supervising department employees.
• Safety & Sanitation:Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, cleaning schedules, and health standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:Previous retail experience, often 3+ years, with prior leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Physical Ability:Ability to stand, reach, stoop, lift, bend, and work in cold environments (coolers). Frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge:Strong understanding of dairy products and inventory management systems.
• Certifications:May require forklift or pallet jack certification
