Job summary

Uncle G’s Marketplace in Morris Plains, NJ is hiring a Dairy Clerk to bring energy and a great attitude to our gourmet marketplace. You’ll help keep the dairy section fresh, organized, and inviting, while assisting customers with milk, cheese, and yogurt selections.

You’ll collaborate with the Dairy Department Manager, create eye-catching displays, stock shelves, and participate in on-the-floor training at nearby locations. If you’re passionate about great food and friendly service, apply today.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Team player who enjoys working in grocery retail.
• Must be able to speak, read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Dairy Department Manager and assist in unloading merchandise for refrigerator placement.
• Assist in unpacking cartons and pricing items as directed.
• Monitor store shelves within the Dairy Department and arrange by stock tags.
• Coordinate with Dairy Management on displays and end caps.
• Manage Department merchandise and assist in pull out of all out of code products.
• Log all damaged and out-of-date products within the Department.
• Assist all customers with questions, directing them to the correct aisle.
• Maintain knowledge on current sales and advertisements in the dairy department.
• Other duties and functions as assigned.

8. Maintain knowledge on current sales and advertisements within the dairy department and correct store location of all Dairy products
9. Other duties and functions as assigned

3. Must be a team player and enjoy working within a grocery market
4. Must be able to speak, read and communicate in the English language
5. Position requires great communication skills
