Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a reliable team member for packaging operations in the ATL Dairy department. You will set up and operate case packing equipment, apply coding changes, prepare packaging materials, and support changeovers while maintaining clean work areas.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and meticulous adherence to GMPs and safety. Training of new associates may be required at leadership’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits and GMP compliance.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating case packing equipment.
• Setting up and changing coder.
• Supplying case packing equipment with cardboard, film and glue.
• Recording total case count.
• Checking and cleaning air filters.
• Assisting with training of new associates as required by leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
