Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to assist residents with daily living activities and collaborate with a caring team to enhance quality of life. This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with pay starting at $15.00 per hour and benefits, including DailyPay access.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, supervising transfers, communicating with residents and staff, and responding to emergencies under nurse direction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing.
• Provide supervision or assist with transfers as needed per resident.
• Communicate and coordinate with resident needs and team.
• Work under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents.
• Assist residents with other daily needs as necessary.
