Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in activities, recreation, senior living, hospitality or event planning preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and lead a diverse calendar of activities and programs.
• Develop programs promoting engagement, wellness, independence and quality of life.
• Get to know residents interests and backgrounds to tailor activities.
• Provide both group and one-on-one activities and reach out to less engaged residents.
• Coordinate transportation to activities and events.
• Plan holidays, themed events, and community celebrations.
• Lead and mentor activities team and collaborate with other departments.
• Manage the activities department budget and resources.
