Job summary

Handicapped Development Center in Davenport, IA is seeking a Daily Discovery Casemanager to advocate for individuals, help them reach personal goals, and foster greater independence through person-centered support. You will provide leadership to direct care staff, collaborate with families, guardians and community partners to ensure positive outcomes, and maintain dignity and respect in all interactions.

This is a full-time role offering a starting rate of $19.19 per hour and regular weekday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in social services.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Ability to meet employment requirements (health screening, TB test, driving record)

Responsibilities

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Prepare foods, beverages, and snacks for service according to recipes and menus.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, food handling, and food storage.
• Assist with the cleanliness of all areas and equipment.

Daily Discovery Casemanager

Location: Davenport, IA, 52806

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. On-call responsibilities every other month.

Starting Rate: $19.19 per hour

As a Daily Discovery Casemanager, you will advocate for individuals, help them achieve their goals, and foster greater independence through person-centered support. You will also provide leadership and guidance to direct care staff while collaborating with families, guardians, and community partners to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications include:

• Possess current and valid driver's license and auto insurance, and maintain a good driving record.
• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education or a related field and a minimum of one year experience in social services
• Experience in a setting with people with intellectual disabilities is preferred
• Ability to meet employment requirements (i.e. health screening, Driving Record, TB test)
