Job summary

Young World Physical Education seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the Midland Independent School District. This full-time position requires a Bachelor's Degree and valid teaching certification in Special Education. Immediate start is available.

The educator will provide learning activities and collaborate with families to assist students in fulfilling their potential. Knowledge of ARD processes and student teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required and valid teaching certificate for Special Education.
Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process.
Student teaching experience or approved Alternative Teacher Certification Program training.

Responsibilities

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences.
Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.

Skills

Knowledge of special needs of students
