Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of bariatric surgical procedures.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Scrub and assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during operative procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure instruments and supplies are readily available.
• Handle surgical specimens according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform sponge, sharp, and instrument counts in accordance with organizational standards.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and turnover the da Vinci system.
• Assist with robotic docking/undocking procedures.
• Maintain robotic instrumentation and camera systems.
