The Aebi Schmidt Group is hiring for a DA on the weld line in Waterville, ME. This regular, hourly non-exempt role focuses on sanding and finishing welds to produce a surface ready for powder coating. The position requires a HS diploma or GED and offers comprehensive benefits described below.

Employees are expected to work in a hot, dusty environment, wear respirators, and occasionally rotate tasks or work overtime. Training opportunities are available to grow within the company.

What you'll do:

As a DA on the weld line, you'll be responsible for sanding and finishing welds to create a smooth, clean surface ready for powder coating. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our products meet top quality standards and move efficiently through production.

What you need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year paint prep or bodywork experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in high heat, dust, and chemical environments.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and team mindset.
• Ability to wear PPE respirators for extended periods.
• Willing to rotate tasks, work overtime, and pursue additional training.
