As a Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation for a project-based industry that encompasses manufacturing, sourced finished goods, distribution and the respective financial transactions. This role requires deep understanding of business needs, translating them into functional specifications, and configuring the system to meet those requirements, including data mapping, workflow design, and customization (kept to a minimal), while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of a tailored solution across various Dynamics modules.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analyze business requirements, identify suitable Dynamics 365 modules, and design comprehensive solutions including data mapping, workflow automation, configurations, minimal customizations, and integrations with other systems.
- Business spoken architect who can converse with the business stakeholders on design decisions, rationale for solutions using terminology and relevant business examples that they understand.
- Provide technical guidance to business analysts, business stakeholders and third-party development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles for Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Empower and support the functional and IT team members through design and build phases to ensure its aligned with the blueprint and rationalize and seek approval from key stakeholders for any deviations / changes to the blueprint.
- Partner with global IT leader and other business executives in the defining and prioritizing the D365 roadmap.
- Hands-on architect to configure Dynamics 365 modules, including fields, views, security roles, business rules, and workflows to meet specific client needs.
- Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise applications using APIs, connectors, and custom development where necessary.
- Develop data migration plans, including data cleansing and transformation processes, to successfully transfer data from legacy systems to Dynamics 365.
- Build prototypes and demonstrations to showcase the potential of Dynamics 365 solutions and validate design concepts with stakeholders.
- Ensure that the solution meets security and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and other technical teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate project progress.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to technical problems.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics365.
- Solid Understanding on the Project Management, Manufacturing, Sales Order, Inventory Management and Financial modules in Dynamics365.
- 5–7-year experience working in Agile environments and toolsets.
- Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure DevOps and other relevant technologies for customization and integration.
- Ability to query data using SQL.
- Understanding of FIFO costing is a plus.
- Experience with integration solution using middleware, such as SSIS.
