Job summary

Amazon LEO is building a Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation to deliver global connectivity. We seek an experienced telco systems engineering lead to oversee all D2D service delivery to mobile network operators (MNOs), including device and chipset interoperability, carrier profiles, and service configuration.

The ideal candidate brings deep cellular knowledge, strong customer and partner skills, and the ability to lead in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in cellular networks or services with D2D/ NTN/ satellite-to-cellular focus.
• Experience leading MNO-facing technical integration of network services.
• Working knowledge of 5G core, IMS voice, interconnects with MNO networks, carrier configuration.
• Experience with device OEMs and chipset vendors on interoperability and certification.
• Experience defining service KPIs and SLAs with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and delivery of complex interdisciplinary system solutions.
• Conduct trade space studies balancing performance, schedule, cost, risk, and scalability across domains.
• Refine system requirements, acceptance criteria, and performance specs.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliability, regulatory compliance, security, and readiness.
• Leverage generative AI tools and cloud platforms to augment productivity and testing.
